I have to imagine that S&S is bound to have some options for engine modifications in-house (unless they have some sort of clause in supplying the engines to Morgan). Also, as to exhaust, there are plenty of bike shops which no doubt would gladly take your business.
Realistically, I would be focused on the other shortcomings of the Morgan build and rectifying those before adding power. Also, I refuse to do business with a company which cant bother to respond to an email/phonecall and you have S&S within "spitting distance" of where you live.

True enough, customer service is REAL important to me. the engine covers are just cosmetic, but the JAP covers really change the look of the car. I do wish S&S made some more interesting looking cam belt and rocker covers to choose from. In this case spitting distance is a 7 hour drive, but i get your point!

I know that someone on here got a clear cam cover from Confederate a good while ago, maybe give them a ring. http://confederate.com/I think it was kind of pricey though (~$700?) I personally dont like the JAP rocker covers as its not a JAP, which makes it a bit odd.

Whilst the JAP rocker and inspection covers are beautifully made, like you I couldn't bring myself to fit them to a non-JAP engine. Do like the see through timing belt cover though. Given the belt wear issues followed by spacer cooling mod it seems that an enterprising concern could make one completely out of see-through polycarbonate. Since the material has fire-retardent properties, engine heat shouldn't be a problem and suitable spacers or more sophisticated ducts allowing cooling without excessive dust/water ingress could be included in the moulding.

Love the look of the confederate hell cat heads and rockers. it would be great to see S&S produce similar for the x-wedge.

I would have paid a lot for those JAP covers, but since they have ignored multiple messages from me, so be it. There are lots of other accessories that I can throw money at!

The JAP covers are ok...sort of..not my cup of tea as posted some time ago BUT what would be tons better IMHO would be Morgan flying Ms...as on older 3Ws. I think they are much more appropriate and would look really good! Cannot find a pic ...but think the y are just large Capital Ms.

Cannot find a pic ...but think the y are just large Capital Ms. And the ones that do have the 'M's are in fact, Matchless engined cars! Rather convenient really, the engine maker having the same initial as Morgan.
