PS...a while bak,on the LHS of the rear Wheel enclosure,I cut a rectangular hole&made an inspection cover(idea from the french forum) Thought it wud be good for checkin tyre pressure, belt tension etc instead ov grovellin on the ground.needless to say Im still grovellin!but that access hole has made the job ov fittin the mudguard easier.

Are you trying to fit the rear mudguard without removing the luggage tray? If so it puts me in mind of the decorating the hallway through the letter box joke.

I like the idea of quick access to check tyre pressures (subject to the valve being in the right place of course). Not sure why you'd need quick access to the mudguard though... Reminder to self to get some of those knurled bolts for the boot tray.

Does anyone have any more news regarding this MMC 'factory' rear mudguard. I asked in the parts department before Christmas - they said soon but nothing available at that time
I have previously made my own, but it doesn't articulate with the swing arm - I would prefer the item as pictured earlier in the post. Thanks Andrew
