I've finally convinced the miss that having a three wheeler is in my best interest. So I decided to stop lurking, and start posting as a preamble to actually buying one. I have a couple years to save up since I'm getting it for my 40th birthday, and I like to plan ahead anyway.

Buying her the MGB GT for her birthday helped a bit too I wager.

I'm a hobbyist mechanic in my spare time. Work for Apple in to pay the bills. Also do a bit of wood work in the shop, mostly just cabinetry and stuff for around the house though.

My taste in vehicles vary greatly. I'm pretty active in the Honda Civic Wagon community, but also love old Volvo wagons.

The three wheeler is definitely a love at first sight, and being down here in Texas where I'll have plenty of clear days to drive it, I think it will be a hoot. I wager I'll need to invest in some sun screen though.

Howdy partner, and welcome to TM..!

There are plenty of Stateside people on here with or awaiting three wheelers now, but they are definitely a hoot..!!

You keep chipping in, all questions and thoughts add to the pot.

Good hunting..

PS - I'm loving that avatar (I think..!!)

Great avatar - too much green tea?? smile
Or maybe Adrian is right, though I would suspect that was more an HP sign! Or just customer support role? laugh2
Another Volvo fan too - folks had a number of 200 series Estates going back a few years now.
Enjoy the 3W when you eventually get it and make sure you drive the MGB occasionally - a lot of former owners on here smile
Welcome to TM!

Welcome to TM and good luck with the saving and choosing process.
My wife ran a Teal Blue GT for a few years and loved it.

Welcome to Global Talk Morgan.
You'll definitely have a faster and wilder ride in the MOG 3W than in your wife's MGB. Have you joined any Texas Morgan Clubs? You don't need to wait until you actually own a MTW, and you can learn a lot at a club function.

Welcome to the wild and wiley Morgan world. There is a big US presence, in case you didn't know. The Texas Clubs are a good start, they will put you in touch with the Morgan owners in the state, and they do have good fun. Texas is sort of in between the other big clubs, e.g. Southern California and MOGSouth (Southeastern USA). Either might be worth joining as well. I don't know about So Cal, but MOGSouth does has a member in Houston with an M3W.

Cheers,

Mark
