Another 130 or so bhp in an Aero suggests it might be a "bit quick"....
The V8 used by Morgan is essentially one intended to a SUV and saloon: it is the M62B48 a (4,837 cc (295 cu in)) version producing 276 kW (375 PS; 370 hp) and 510 N·m (376 lb·ft) of torque.
it might have been easier to fit the MSport V8, the S62B50a high-performance variant of the M62 fitted to the E39 M5 and E52 Z8. It is enlarged with a bore of 94 mm (3.7 in), a stroke of 89 mm (3.5 in) and a displacement of 4,941 cc (302 cu in). It shares its basic architecture, including aluminium block, with the M62 engines, so should fit, but the eight individual throttle bodies might be a tight squeeze. Electronically actuated they have a setting for the driver to select "normal" or "sport" mode throttle response.
The compression ratio is 11.0:1, so 98 octain fuel is essential, and hollow camshafts are used, also while the M62 engine uses a single-row timing chain, the S62 uses a double-row timing chain.
The S62 engine produces 294 kW (394 hp) at 6600 rpm and 500 N·m (369 lb·ft) at 3800 rpm.[12] The redline is 7000 rpm.
I am surprised no one has tried one in an Aero...or have they?

Hi Em, The parts were supplied by Brands Hatch Morgan. The car itself never went into the factory as I carried out almost all of the work myself, in my garage. The only parts of the job that were not done by myself were; fitting the tyres on to the wheels & stamping the bonnet louvres.

Hi Ray, The engine is a BMW V10 S85B50 running a Tornado Engine Management System presently delivering 600BHP. It has a V8 BMW S65 Gearbox with a Twin Plate Clutch and Flywheel. The flywheel is built for the V8 engine but fits the V10 as well.

Hi, Your source is correct but due to the engine management system, the car is actually producing 600BHP. It also has the capability to be increased to 650BHP by taking it down to Morgan in Norfolk and letting them tinker with it. But I think 600BHP is probably enough! ;-)

Alan T.Thats a real credit to you a real one off,not that it matters to the integrity of your build but was the donor vehicle damaged. It seems an awfull lot of work and expense to graft an Aeromax bespoke rear end onto a standard Aero.Lets have a bit more info makes a refreshing change from Suplex and induction kits.Blown away mate...
