Plus 8 is going out today. Up the road some 30 miles, to an art class the wife and I have signed up for. Not much hope for me, but the wife will do better. (or so I will tell her . . .)

At least I get a drive . . .

Cheers,

Mark

Yes, and crashed it! Spent the last week rebuilding the front end, kingpins, discs and pads. Was reversing up the drive, and driving down again to settle the new bits in, and while reversing, and avoiding SatNag who was gardening, ploughed into my Land Rover? A bit of a scuff on the back wing, which until then. Was the only pristine panel on the car.
The Land Rover is, as you would imagine, completely unharmed.
Later, on a few mile trip around the area, everything bedded in and hunkydory.

Yes, went out locally with side screens and half tonneau in drizzle rain. Great drive around North Wilts. Those dinky windscreen wipers are quite efficient.

Lovely drive in the sunshine today. Long way round, to and from Berrybrook; half tonneau and no sidescreens.
drive
I had a look at the ARP4 they were preparing and also an amazing 35th Anniversary +8. The latter has less than a 1,000 miles from new!!
Just rinsed the salt off and now Stanley is back in the garage

Bud,
you make me envious as I face a BA stowage trip to Milan Linate.

Oh, have Berrybrook got an AR+4 in now? How does it look in the flesh and what is the colour scheme of the one they've got? Is it going to a local owner?

Paul: It's a customer's car in a non standard Porsche Grey that they were preparing in the Workshop. I was more impressed than I expected. Nice car, with some nice detail.

OK thanks, we might see it around then, though I'm not too sure about grey, ever since my Dad had a Triumph 2000 with red seats, back in the late '60's, but that's just me.
