Look left, at "latest photos". e3W. The photo in the middle of the three. It is of the new, but still petrol powered, M3W, so it has nothing to do with extra battery space.

I think that might be the new footwell storage box that is listed in the 2016 model year options and accessory list. But of course just wild as speculation so far on my part.

Just spoken to my dealer who has in turn been speaking today with the factory following a couple of 2016 option requests. Although the build spec is technically frozen now given revised week 12 build, its been agreed the requested rear mudguard will be dealer fitted at PDI.
Also following discussions directly with production, its hoped that the standard screens will be swapped out for the full Aero windscreen at build time.

A lot of the options can be spied on the Heritage model. I am still waiting to see what the mudguard looks like though.
