Hi Frank,

Great photos and no I didn't see my car in that lot.

Mine is Chassis 0757.

Cheers,

Steve

Hi Steve,

The visit was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone living near enough to go there.

We had probably one of the best visits we could have had. A Group of only 4 of us being shown around by the Archivist, creator of the museum and author of 'Morgan, Malvern & Motoring', Martyn Webb, who has three Morgans of his own and an excellent source of knowledge.

However, It was not that easy to get at the 'ready to deliver cars' to take individual pics or to get info on them, so the quick snap photos were the best I could get.

AS you can see, there are cars all over the place. The popularity of the Aero 8 and balance of the Aeromax production means that base model is being built in all of the workshops. The few Trads that there were are all mixed in between. Around 70% of current work in progress are left hand drive, great for the ailing economy. I spent years introducing 'Just in Time' manufacturing systems into clothing factories, but I have to say I just love the way 'Morgan' works.

I was also convinced there was only one Aero Supersport prototype, but I am sure I saw one heading for the Research and development area and there it was in the Showroom moments later? There is also a photo somewhere there, which I forgot to take a copy of, of another one in dark gray with Swiss badges set into the wheel nuts, which I assume is in 'Prince Eric's' collection by now???? innocent
