I'm sorry to read your news, Peter.

It's always so very sad after so many happy years, and whilst you can have many opportunities to have pets in your life, you were the only ones in hers & I'm sure you have many good memories to reminisce over.

I agree with Roger when he said they can be so much nicer than many humans.

My thoughts are with you, and your family, Our Westie, Eddy, was also an avid motor enthusiast, with the one annoying habit of if it was just you and he in the car , he would walk across the seats to put his face out the drivers side window, ignoring the fact that you were trying to drive.
We miss him daily, I share your sense of loss.

Although we haven't had a dog for nearly 30 years we feel for you both at this time, Peter.

It's hard when they move to the other side of the rainbow bridge...
Give yourself enough time for grief and remember the good times you had together.

The pain we suffer when we go is the price we pay for the joy of having them in our lives. And it is worth it. Sorry to learn of your loss. They leave a big hole in our lives when they go.

That would make a beautiful epitaph for your wonderful dog. My condolences Peter.

Condolences, I have never had a dog but can see how heartbreaking it must be after all that time.
