Been coming out the factory like that 4-5 months See the slots in the front
Saw three used M3W's outside Krazy Horse today. Early one had standard timing cover, no spacer. A second later model with spacing washers and a third with the JAP kit which does have three cooling slots. Had a good look at both models with standard covers and even felt along the horizontal ridges to see if there was a cooling slot but couldn't find one. Happy to be corrected though.

Will believe what you like but there is some of us that pay attention and go to the factory and leave the tour to hangout in the m3w shop ,crazy horse tried to sell me a new car which if I didn't no my stuff would have got 2013 car as new ? So don't believe everything you see
June 15 is also when they went to the new exhaust mounts which you can spot easily because the mounting bolts are hard against the body as opposed to centred on the pipe.
