Enjoy putting some miles on your car SFO and maybe you can give us a running report as they mount up. I will try. Didn't get out in it today as was busy, shame as sunny clear day today. I need to see if the engine light will come on again hope you get to put lots more miles on this year.
me too. I have a 5000 mile limit, which I may well exceed. I am going on a 1 week driving tour of Ireland in May which will be around 1500 miles, so that will be interesting from a number of perspectives. Great write-up, thanks for sharing. Your experiences so far are fairly similar to mine. Are you experiencing any steering wheel shake at high(er) speeds? no steering shake or vibration at any speed. it does move about when the road is bumpy or uneven however, as to be expected. Thanks for the write up. What are the clips on the bonnet hinge for? they clasp the 3 feet or so long metal rod which holds up each bonnet wing your block is somewhere in E.London? If so, please let us know what it sounds like through the Blackwall or the Rotherhithe tunnels or maybe the Limehouse Link.
yes, I use the Limehouse link quite often and the Blackwell tunnel too. Not done either yet! Rotherhithe too narrow for my liking I especially like the wheels, far better than the new Aero 8 wheels, in my view. I wonder if they are available as 18" with the correct stud pattern and offset?
the wheels look much better in the metal than in the pictures. I love the way the wheel and tyres really fill out the arches. I really like the disc wheels of the Aero 8 Just noticed the very neat rear number plate light. they are needed, as there's not enough light at the back IMO. cars in London felt like they were very close .. some of them were right up my back.

On our 4//4 upgrading the cover from 5000 miles to unlimited cost the princely sum of £15 - made me wonder why I had imposed a limit on mileage!!

In all the euphoria surrounding what is clearly a very nice car and my best wishes for your long term enjoyment of the same, isn't it sad to read of yet another new Morgan model blighted with EML illumination problems? Isn't it time that Morgan finally addressed this problem instead of leaving it to dealers and owners to try to sort it out? After all, based on my personal experience, it has been going on for years. Don.

SFO, If coming to Ireland, we Paddymogs would love to meet with you and see an ARP4 in the "flesh" what part of Ireland are you visiting? Are you on a particular itinerary or are you just touring?
Cheers!

I was surprised and disappointed by the light coming on, and it shook my confidence in Morgan .. the engine sounded completely normal; and I am hoping it is some sort of glitch that will disappear which it no doubt will not. I hope I am proved wrong! SFO, If coming to Ireland, we Paddymogs would love to meet with you and see an ARP4 in the "flesh" what part of Ireland are you visiting? Cheers! tour info here: http://petrolhead.tours/tours/uk/ireland/more than happy to show you folks the car
