Nice Bob! I've not been across Dunoon ferry, using Arrochar/Inverary route instead, usually via Helensburgh.

Hunter's quay ferry is only £18 return (can be used the same way twice) if you buy from the garage a bit before Dunoon.

Yikes Helensburgh to Arrochar if along the past Faslane is a proper roller coaster in places - although at night I could do it a shade under 20 mins in my smart Roadster at night, I'm not sure the leaf springs on the Mog would keep the rear wheels on the ground! I stayed in the Village Inn - nice steak iirc

Five+ years since I used the road north of Faslane in a Morgan, was a bit rough back then (likely worse now!). 10 years ago took the 127 along it.

I want to school in Dunoon A third of the school was made up of Anerican kids from the Holy Loch base around the corner

Stewart, I am sorry about your class mates (wow, American kids!). Could have been worse however . . .
Spent the past weekend with the Super Sport at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. They had me in Prewar Sports. No prizes. You should have seen the competition!! Buy lots of spectator interest and lots of Morgan enthusiasts. I like to fly the Morgan flag . . . It is not very common in the US.
Cheers,
Mark

Great long day in 4/4...York to Southport and back for 90 year reinactment of Sir Henry Segrave 100 mph record set in a Sunbeam car.
Cold but sunny on beach watching 25+ vintage cars racing down a measured course.Wonderful sounds..worth the trip.
Drove home on A59 via Preston,Clitheroe,Skipton and Harrogate. Drove through a scruffy village called Croston looking for red Morgans !!! (only joking Stewart !!!)
Happy Day
