Chaps, Thanks for the "heads up" on AFC50. I have just bought a can so will head out to the garage tomorrow (after Sounds of the 60's)and give the seams a spray, not cheap though is it!!
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

Yes, ACF 50 is truly excellent stuff. It's a bit cheaper to buy in larger quantities, I bought a "quart" (which I think is 2 American pints, or just under a litre) from Transair

Lowebird, a little ACF50 goes a long way. As recommended on here, I spray some ACF 50 into a container and then use an artists brush to drip the stuff along the seams.

I boil a pan of water - then put the ACF can in the water - its then easier to apply and runs along the seams a lot better.

I have had a Taxy run in Just Jane! Very envious - trying to persuade Mrs F to treat me for my next birthday.

When using ACF 50
I use a syringe to apply to either side of the beading - then let capillary action do the rest, much less messy and wasteful!
