I was cleaning the car when some friends dropped by and asked for an inspection.
On opening the bonnet I noticed the coolant level was low and removed the filler cap, intending to top up the coolant.
I'm extremely embarrassed to report that I closed the bonnet without replacing the cap and then dropped my wife at the gym before stopping to check the tyre pressures. It was then I realised I had not replaced the cap, which of course had disappeared.
How to get a replacement? Suggestions gratefully received. In oz we do have Ford Fiestas,So should rock up at the local Ford parts outlet and see what they have? Or is there a more scientific solution please?
