That's true of any tall vehicle driven outside the envelope. A Land Rover Defender, Suzuki Jimney and many others are no different. Yes I know but a good friend of mine is now mentally damaged after one did that in the Okovanga delta. The RSA police for whatever reason said at the time they were worse that most 4WD cars. Foretunately the S African air ambulance brough him back to Jo'burg.

I have rented a few times a Jeep when on vacation in the USA, Moab and at Capitol Reef both in Utah. It was fun to drive and to get to places where a normal car does not get you. The off road capabilities are excellent, the ride on the road ok. It has very small turning radius and, of all off all 4x4 cars it is the one which looks most resembles a morgan! There is whole culture around these cars, so plenty of upgrades available? Go for it.

We have been looking for a 4x4 did look at the Jeep love the 3 door but we need 5. Very basic and we could not live with it so went for the warrior pick up.
Very much in the dog house, could be up for rehoming
