With the jailing yesterday of the Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, this may be a good time to remind ourselves of the massacre of more than 8000 Muslim men and boys by the Christian Bosnian Serbs in July 1995. This was a documented and witnessed fact, unlike the overwhelming majority of "Muslim myths" doing the rounds that have no empirical basis and are either completely made up or are a twisted version of a benign event.
By the way, Christians and Jews are recognised in the Koran as "people of the book" and should have no enmity shown toward them. I'm neither, so presumably a legitimate target?

In none of my posts have I ever expressed any doubt regarding the rise of the threat from Islamic terrorism, because the evidence for it is clear, well-documented and factually based. Claims regarding the intentions, attitudes, behaviours and attributes of "Muslims" that are not empirically based, and which are mostly simply made up, I will challenge.

I grew up as the child of a military pilot. From the age of 3 through to the age of 7 we lived outside the UK. Dad trained pilots for other airforces on different aircraft so we followed him from location to location. Always on safe military bases and during a period when things were probably not as complex in retrospect.
We moved roughly every six months and "acclimatisation" training was the first event. We (a group of pilots/families providing the training) were provided training on the local manners and customs. I found this wonderful and it gave me a perspective on being the odd one out in a local culture.
I think the people of Malaysia to be incredible, so gentle and generous that it left me interested in the region for the rest of my life. Travel broadens the mind, if you are introduced to it correctly.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
