Maybe one of this, the Bertucci A-3T Navigator Ti-Matic is titanium and it can be fitted with a leather or nylon strap; the Victorinox Airbox Mechanical is Stainless Steel and it can be fitted with a S.S. bracelet or a leather strap. Both are 42mm in diameter and automatic. Sorry but I can't make the Victorinox watch image to appear, just the link to it...
I have been really pleased with my Christopehr Ward C70 VW - the looks, function and service of the company have all been great. A small British company taking on the big boys and punching above their weight - sounds family. Their watches are reasonable enough price wise that I will buy from them again.
I also have a 20 year old Omega Constellation which I have owned from new. The second bracelet has now failed/worn out. The price for a new bracelet and a service? A staggering £982!

Ouch!
I bought a few watches in 2004 and 2005 and looking at their retail now they seem to have all doubled in price
Omega, Zenith and Rolex - doubled in 11 years

A Smiths is surely ideal for a Morgan enthusiast. The Everest Automatic on my wrist I've worn near to 24/7 since my 21st birthday, 52 years ago. It gains about a minute per week. Sweep second hand, no batteries, stainless steel case and strap.
