Back for lunch from an 3 hour's Easter spin with the 3Wheeler. Bright sunshine!
Since I've got the steel rear sprocket she is great fun. I had instructed the garage not to tighten the belt too much when they changed for the steel sprocket and now (nearly) all the squeaking and whining has gone.
Hannes once: Green M3W; 2013 now: Red 4/4 Sport; 2011 and some practical cars for use in real life
Decided to hold fire on an M3W decision for a bit, until we are both able to enjoy what is an amazing car. In the words of General MacArthur, "I shall return".
Went to Krazy Horse today. I have joined the club with an elegant shiny green 2012 M3W! Collecting it in a couple of weeks. Once I work out how to post photos I'll introduce myself properly.
Congratulations! I fell in love with M3Ws from the moment I test drove one, and got very close to buying one before other priorities got the better of me.

Another daily drive through the countryside. When I'd get to a stop, there was a horrible loud rattling that sounded like the transmission wanted to fall out...amazingly loud. As I drove along and pondered what could possibly have gotten loose (I've owned many Harleys so I'm familiar with V Twins shaking everything apart), I suspected the cause and was proven correct once back in my garage...the fuse box had loosened itself up. Tightened two of the three thumb screws and the horrid rattling went away.

Glad to hear Tim. It wasn't this one was it? - spotted outside KH a couple of weeks ago.

Bet you were relieved it was such an easy fix. That shuddering great narrow angle V twin has a lot to answer for
I suspect a lot of these, lets face it minor issues would (a) not come about and (b) not be heard with a multi-cylinder machine.
