Off in a few minutes to take her to nick Potters garage for him to get her through MOT and a service , nice afternoon for it with roof down !

That's good to read, Peter. We had a ride out to have a jolly nice home made hot cross bun & a brew with Madmax & Mrs Madmax before the monsoons arrived.. A great adventure with heater, a roof and just a light rain inside the cockpit from the gale force winds on MY side.. I'm loving this car..!!  Glad you arrived back ok Steve and Di as I got soaked opening the gate before you left ! Was great to see you both and made our day !

Up early for a cross Cotswolds drive today, down to Williams for the cars first service & almost made it bang on the button with 988 miles up.. It did cross my mind to spin around the block a few times, but with sooooo many temporary traffic lights back up again after the Easter break, plus a cold wind and drizzle starting, the lure of a certain log burner too precedence.. Nice to catch up with folks down there, and doubly nice to only pay a bill of £78 for oil etc.. If only all services could be like that..!! True to form it rained when I set off, so hood up and wipers going were the order of the day & a short hop down the M4 before cutting up North again. Fresh lube in the kingpins has worked, they pogo'd like mad on some dual carriageway parts..! Had to stop for my emergency sandwich, too. Life can be tough!!  Just over 200 miles today & loving it more as it loosens up nicely.

Went to the Puzzlewood near Coleford in the Forrest of Dean
Top down all the way despite showers coming back

is that tinfoil a Williams accessory complete with crust?  I hope the weather was better over there than this side of the Severn.. hail and flipping cold out!

Top down all the way despite showers coming back Crikey John, you are near to me.. Puzzlewood is great, they filmed the last Star Wars there, couldn't park anywhere near for TV trucks. Last weekend Coleford had its classic car show, 400 cars they said. You are also brave, we had hail the size of marbles just now.
