A nice day out with the other tour guides at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon today....most in their Morgan's including Martyn Webb in the 80th Anniversary 4/4 which he has just bought. They got a lot of attention from the punters, parked just outside the new museum building!
Sadly as I can't get my boot into a Morgan, had to arrive in a tintop.
Lovely weather for the trip...the museum has been rejigged and well worth a trip. We stopped at Wellesbourne airfield on way home to see if we could get near their Vulcan. They kindly let us in to inspect it and park a Three Wheeler under it to take photos!

With the help of three friends from MOG South, we installed a new Amal mono block to replace the old dual float on my 1930 Aero. Then took it for a drive this evening around the backroads here in central Florida. Absolutely glorious drive in a glorious old machine. It doesn't get any better than this.

A nice 143 mile drive from Salisbury to St Hellier, Jersey. Actually most of it was sitting inside the Condor Liberation!

The weather here is flawless....
Photos will follow....

Peter, enjoy Jersey we had a great time there.

Yesterday I went to Goodrich Castle & today drove back from Whitchurch to home in Bucks. Even with the misfire problem I got a steady 27.5 mpg

Chose not to take the 4/4 (Easter holiday traffic swear) but rode the Bonneville to Seaton to visit Adrian.
Eager anticipation by our friend over his planned move to the dark side next week!

Took a trip to get the MOT done today, passed OK. Back home to change the gearbox and diff oils. Now ready for the road.
It was good to drive the car after the suspension rebuild so I hope to go for a longish test drive over the weekend.
Cheers
John
