"Aren't you pleased I bought a Morgan," I say to SWMBO as we load bags of potting mix and fertiliser into the luggage bay. She looks at me and her silence is as loud as Guy Martin's bike. She has a masters degree in irony. But we pack the old 4/4 with soil and manure and stuff a few other garden accessories into the footwell with her legs and off we go. The occasion is the annual trip to the biggest garden centre in the region and the suggestion that we go even came from me. I don't do the garden centre thing very well but we know each others weaknesses. I want an excuse to take the mog out on a sunny Sunday and she wants some time in a place that has all the bits she needs to make things grow (no sniggering, please) so it all works beautifully. A 50 mile round trip and all's well in the household. And home in time to watch the GP.

Had a short ride into town and back - after five years of ownership, I am used to it now I guess, but now Spring has sprung with the roof and side panels off, it still surprises me the reaction and pleasure it seems to give to drivers and pedestrians you pass.

They are special cars! drive

Given how many people had cameras, I'm sure there will be an official video in the next week or so.

Here is last year's (you'll see our white 68 Firebird in the convoy): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh7jSV9w2ko

Explored the very narrow lanes of Jersey with the Channel Islands MSCC Centre. A small, but perfectly formed group of Morgan nuts!

The plus 8 was brushing the grass on both sides at times, I also discovered that it has a worse lock than the Trads, a couple of corners had to be taken in 2 bites!!

Photos to follow!!

Unfortunately, we missed the Morgan parade laps, but hope you had a good day.

It was indeed a very good day!

I shall be signing autographs at Chateau Impney on 10 July. Wearing dark glasses to keep the masses at bay but all TMers welcome to come & bask in the reflected glory. crazy2

Cheers !

They put on a great show for us when we visited 2 years ago. at the time the Roadster had the standard sump & some of the side road/lane stuff was a little frightening.

Amazing how much road there is there for so small an island

Do any of my fellow TaffMoggers or indeed anyone know where this is?
Went for a 5 hour drive today, lovely sunshine, saw another Mog in Machynlleth.
