Got gas in the Plus 8. Doesn't really count. Only 3 Miles away. But fun away. As said earlier 'This early retirement is good' so any little trip is a good excuse.
Cheers,
Mark

The excuse to get out is all important, in this case to bed in the new rear Vredesteins. A jolly good run was had around the Malverns, with a St Richards Hospice patient as co-driver, to blow the cobwebs out of his hair and reveal the experience that is driving a Morgan. Refuelling took place at the Malvern Hotel, with a low level of alcoholic refreshment. We spotted and saluted four MOGs (all classic), a TR4a and a Caterham while we were out, all enjoying the warmth and sun of the afternoon.

Quick run to Wilton and back with No 1 son to see how his slightly bent Focus is progressing in the bodyshop. I was "testing" the repaired wheel, avoiding all kerbs.
Sad really, the last storm was the cause, wrenched the door out of his grip and damaged door and wing.
The insurers wanted to scrap the car, a 2007 low milage 3 door Focus ST worth about £6k. The body shop fitted a salvaged door, new wing and door hinges and sprayed the wing all for £1400.

No1 son and I had a lunchtime run to the Western Cotswolds - a light lunch and then back to the rancho!
All after an enjoyable hour washing and tidying the car up.

No not today, but yesterday I took my Roadster for the season´s first spin. Rather cold experience at +4°C, driving open top, but else very nice. I drove about 30km to regain the feeling that my Michelins again were back to 100% round shape after the winter storage Still very early season here in Norway

That's a 'yes' today! Took a drive out for lunch to a pub called the 'Live and Let Live' near Hexton in rural South Bedfordshire. The pub's gone up and down over the years but lunch was very very good. The current owners were very pleasant and I hope they do well. Lovely views of the Pegsdon hills from the garden. A drive in hot sunshine - lovely!

Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable three day tour west of Salisbury. Spectacular countryside around Cranborne Chase that seems purpose made for Morgans with some great pubs as well. Based ourselves at The Beckford Arms which you will know I am sure and like you we drove through Wilton today into Salisbury. Happy days indeed.

Hope you are as happy with them as I am. See you on the Worcestershire roads some day.
