I did a business trip in the tin top today, starting early in the morning. I came back home in mid afternoon and the weather was perfect for a spin with the Morgan. On the return, only 3km from home, I suffered the first rainshower/thunderstorm this year. Milage on the clock: 33333!

We had to go and pay a bill today at a place about 45 km away so a 90km round trip. Good excuse for a trip in the Morgan. Arrived home and looked at the speedo. No magic numbers but it read 46020km so we sliped over 46000 and didn't notice it.
Picked up Henrietta after her 80,000 service (actually 81,200 odd) from Mike Duncan at Hartlebury, then drove the 8 miles to Droitwich to do a bit of touching up with Isadora, then the country way back to Ross, 45 miles.
I live in Stonely and have Just fitted a pair of brake reaction bars that I bought before Christmas, so a trip out on to the local twisty roads to see if I can feel a difference. Must admit that I cannot see any improvement but a nice 40 mile drive around local roads is a good way to spend the afternoon.
Cracking day out & about dodging the April showers today..!
Followed Son the Elder's Midget over to Sywell Garage for a new clutch slave and MoT, and dropped him off back at work again.
From there it was over to Rugby to see a mate for a catch up & coffee. He always chided me about the M3W, but was really taken with the 4/4. So much so, we had a drive out for lunch at Wellesbourne Airfield and queued for eats with Quentin Wilson no less..!
He was all Bentley'd up today, and was with what I presume was his son, so apart from smiling and a quip about him paying for the grub, he was his usual sulky self.
Sat outside in the spring sunshine watching the circuits and bumps, and a lone stunt plane having a play before landing for his butty.
Home now with a glowing face, and only had the roof up in the storms three times..!!
Took the Mog out to see the nice people here . Why? Because I'm going to be a volunteer guide/worker/whatever ....initially a couple of days a month, but once I've retired, every week.
A nicer bunch of aircraft/petrolhead nutters as one could possibly meet. The jewel in their crown is a Short Sandringham flying boat which is open to visits.
Another rather nice perk is free admission to the Goodwood Revival Meeting looking after the aircraft display. Lord March is a patron...
We must arrange a TM trip when I'm trained up and can act as the tour guide...

Fitted the Williams Wind Deflector yesterday ,and had a Librands manifold with sport cat fitted today at Revolutions then a 60 mile run up the A9 on a test run .Very happy I already have a K&N cold air induction system . A remap will be next but I don't think I will go as far as throttle bodies .The Wind Deflector makes a big difference .
