They certainly are, mine came with a selection of adapters so I can also use it to charge and power iPhones, laptops and stuff. It also has a fag lighter adapter so you can charge it back up as you drive along. Great value for fifty quid or so.

Left my lights on this week and a pal with a +4 jump started me using one of these mini chargers. Amazingly quick and simple. Bought one on Amazon today for about £30.
