Hi Matty, sorry to see that another fine pilot will fail to return to base, we keep being shot down.

While this could be seen as normal in a conflict, where our brave men were being lost do to the action of our brand's foes (in this case, another manufacturer having a better three wheeler), what is most annoying is that we're getting all shot down by ... let's say ... friendly fire, our troops on the ground. It's insane, but it's exactly that what's causing that so many leave the M3W camp.

I'd like to be a lot more talkative than I am in TM, and I'd like to have many more miles of driving my own 3W than I have. I do post some facts when they happen, but I don't post to complain. I won't spoil TM with private issues, so when I'm not pleased I simply don't post at all. Good friends here assume I am a very patient and understanding customer, but this last couple of years I have been a few times very close to do my own "farewell" thread. I refrained so far, and to be honest, at this point, I don't think I'll ever write it.

Because M3W ownership is addictive, and because maybe the fact that I am far from the source of the problems helps me stick with an attitude of "I don't need you guys anyway, I can sort this toy out if needed without the help of its maker".

But I understand you might take the odd behaviour of MMC, or some of the people in charge there, with a more unforgiving attitude.

As for me, I have many reasons to remain silent these days. And that's what I'll do.

If ever MMC bothers to call focus groups again, especially regarding the M3W, and if any user here, regardless of personal M3W ownership, is part of such group (because I'm not), I'd like that user to contact me before such meeting, I might have a tale or two to tell him.

I salute and thank you Matty. But you don't need to leave entirely the Morgan family. As others have said, 4 wheeled Morgan ownership is a better experience, and the cars are also sufficiently different from anything else on wheels to make you feel good just for driving them. My PLus 4 has been, by far, the car that has given me more pleasure to own in my entire motoring life. It's good that I never needed the factory to help out with any problem, because I never had any problem with it.

And truth be told, if and when the car starts to have problems, I don't plan on selling. I view Mmy Morgans, both bought new, as "classics at birth". And therefore, I view and own them with an attitude that could be described like this (I'll quote someone else now):

"Purchasers of modern cars typically calculate their ownership period of anything between 6 months and 5 years before they move on to something newer and better, but classic car owners see it the opposite way: the cars will exist beyond their tenure, and they are merely temporary custodians of something that has a life beyond theirs."

So, I plan to have my Morgans outlast me.

Cheers all
