Otherwise, the 'Brass' version just offends every fibre of my being that respects both tradition and good taste.

As an aside, anyone else wonder why the "Bonnet" doesn't extend out to the covered frame rails? It's an awkward junction btwn round and flat.

That's one of the great things about the M3W - no 2 are the same and everyone gets to personalise it to their taste.

It would be a terribly boring world if we all liked the same thing

Exactly - thats partly what Morgans are about - personalisation.

BTW I think its out of order to critique anothers choice!!

Keep calm - and carry on Morganeering!

Oh, I'm not criticizing another's choice, I could care less...I AM (and entitled to) criticize MMC's choice in offering it though. The Heritage Option IMO is just cheesy and inauthentic, I think they could have reached back into history and come up with something more sympathetic. That some like it only speaks to the words of PT Barnum, that's all.

The basic goodness of it....the driving experience...is the same regardless of colour, so whatever the choice the basic goodness of the thing is intact, and i say any M3W is a good M3W.

Nothing personal!

This thread is obviously about my and my wifes car. If you want to create a thread about the Heritage Options and why they are sh!t, feel free. But I really think it would be courteous of you to not sh!t on me in my own thread.

Honestly, why do it HERE? on MY post about MY car?
Thanks, this last post made it so much better!

But none of them are labelled as to their names.

Kirk, I apologize! It's nothing personal. You're entitled to your opinion and you don't need my approval! Any M3W is great.

I'm still struck by your willingness to abandon what you initially presented as your dream of black and red, though..based only on pictures. That's different for me, once I saw the M3W up close I just knew charcoal grey metallic was it for me, and I never questioned it.

I'm obviously indecisive, well no i'm not, well yes I am, sometimes... I mean...

Seriously though, We saw the pics from the show and fell in love, mostly. It has added a LOT to both the cost and aggravation of the project, believe me we did not make those decisions lightly, I dont even what to tell you what that JAP kit costs!

A few people here in the states have ordered Morgans like we did, My dealer still has NO paint samles, NO leather samples... a few people even ordered cars without ever seeing or driving the car in the flesh.

Our car will be dark silver Metallic, so we can kind of agree on at least that, When is your build week?

Exactly. I was about to type the same thing. Look at the title of the thread. There was a thread about the Heritage Edition right after it was introduced. That's the place to express your opinions. This thread is specifically about a husband and wife celebrating the choice they've already made.
