Nice photo, by the way. The last time I was inside the Arctic Circle, the outside temperature gauge read minus 48 Celsius at one point. You would not wish to try that in a Mog, even with the top up.

The Arctic Circle is the most northerly of the five major circles of latitude that mark maps of the Earth. The region north of this circle is known as the Arctic, and the zone just to the south is called the Northern Temperate Zone. North of the Arctic Circle, the sun is above the horizon for twenty-four continuous hours at least once per year (and therefore visible at midnight) and below the horizon for twenty-four continuous hours at least once per year (and therefore not visible at noon) We have great light summer and dark cold winter!

We have great light summer and dark cold winter! Norway is indeed a wonderful country and the north is certainly a challenging environment in winter. I have been to Finnmark in summer (wonderful scenery but still very cold and widespread snow and ice only a few 100 metres above sea level, and in the winter when was even colder and very little daylight, but ample compensations from the Nordlys and dog sledging. I have driven many miles in tin tops around Trondelag, and on the E55 (my favourite road in the whole world) from Bergen to Otta, then up the E6 to Trondheim. The roads there are pretty good once the winter damage is repaired, but once north of Bødo, the road surfaces must be challenging for the Morgan suspension throughout the year.
