Wirewheel spent most of the day 'Fettling' under the Morgan. I was allowed to sit in the drivers seat to push hard on the brake-twice and turn the steering wheel round and back a couple of times. All good fun in a chilly garage(!) Petemog stopped play for a while as he came over to look at a Jack - non-stop fun up here in the Middle-lands.
Not needed after that so I decided to go shopping in Stratford (the Avon one) and spend some of his pension laugh2 on my drive i am sure I passed Roadster Boy heading off on another of his Cotswold jaunts weather was certainly just right for a drive out. This evening the wheels are back on and we set off on our own Cotswold drive - beautiful evening, beautiful countryside and beautiful Morgan-he can carry on Fettling if this is the reward!!

Sorry to have missed you this morning Minty. Anyway, he managed a mean cup of coffee in your absence and we even found the biscuits!

Glad you enjoyed your evening jaunt, we spotted you setting off while sat in the traffic queue at Bidford bridge.

I was swapping my old moly grease for the Red n Tacky recommended by Adrian.
It took a bit longer than expected as I repositioned the grease nipples and had trouble trying to get the angled grease nipple back on.
I eventually used a coffee stirring stick and an elastic band to screw the nipple back into the thread, job done.

You did indeed see me off on another adventure!

Just a short one today - back to my garage to fettle ...ready for the Librands posh badge bar to,be fitted.

The postman tried to deliver it earlier ...but took it back to the post office !

So it's now a tomorrow pm task!

Get that remote kit fitted Ian! Less trouble with your nipples...

Alas, those of us who have chosen the "dark side" are denied this basic pleasure...

Adrian will be auctioning off his surplus "Red and Tacky" before long... along with other reminders of his past....
Once the "dark lord" has you in his thrall there is no turning back.....
