I was inquiring with Morgan and they told me that the fenders/mud guards only come in black. That if I wanted them painted it would be something I'd need to get done later.
Though strangely enough the dealer I've been speaking with told me it was a factory option. Guess sometimes the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing.
For getting this done in the states does anyone know the reliability of color matching? Or if the paint codes are available. I'd hate to end up with slightly off colored fenders.

I suspect that the mudguards are produced by a sub-contractor and arrive at MMC in black. I've never seen them unfinished in the factory.
Jays may be able to throw some light on this...he almost lives there...!
Offering them in a body or contrasting colour, or chrome.. would seem to me to be a good "extra" and chargeable at MMC's usual attractive level... I think they have missed a trick there.
BTW, I'll be in Round Rock TX in a couple of weeks!

"Sometimes"? How about almost all of the time, LMAO. Color matching is not difficult at all if you find a reputable body shop...computerization and all that.

To get mine body coloured it had to be a post purchase change by my dealer as it wasn't available at the factory. The Geneva Heritage car even has black mudguards.

I'd recommend buying a spare set and having them painted so you have two sets. Bring them and the car to a good body shop and they'll color match it perfectly with the computer, the days of colors being "off" are long gone.
The biggest issue isn't the color match, btw...it's getting a factory smooth finish, typically the easiest way to tell a repainted panel is the dreaded orange peel, the even more dreaded sanding marks and swirls to remove same, and the small imperfections that get lodged in the finish when it's wet. Choose well, don't just shop price or based on color match, look over their finished work carefully. There's nothing worse than a bad paint job.
What color is your car?

I had my front mudguards repainted under warranty after much prompting from me with dealer & MMC. The dealer organised it locally & the finish was better than from new.

I wanted my mudguards painted body colour, with the inner side panels left black. This was not an option from new, a bit like chrome wire wheels also wasn't an option. A local paint shop did it for a very reasonable price with a perfect colour and finish match. They also did the insides with stonechip at no extra cost, good service. Strange how you can specify any colour or interior you like almost but easy things like this are not available.

They dont come painted from the factory. They have some black coloured stuff on them but its not reallly paint. It falls off after a couple of years leaving you with a good base for bead blasting and painting with some real paint:):):)

So much for the craftsman finish. I can do better with spray cans from Halfords.
