I have a four post lift....call me paranoid but supporting the weight of a car from a four point lift never sat well for me, I had these fantasies of the points digging deep into the frame, ultimately collapsing, having the car crash down onto the car underneath it. I have a very vivid imagination...
A four point with a strong steel plate across the back end to support the one rear tire. On the odd occasion I'd need to raise the wheels, I'd use floor stands.
