I never experienced a thing like this... While waiting for the car, yesterday the papers reached me with the Certificate of Conformity - and nearly everything was wrong... All Spec`s are from a Plus 4! Wrong Tyre Dimensions, wrong Maximum net Power, wrong Speed... With this papers i can not drive the car in Germany - i am very dissapointed. My dealer is looking for solutions... Anyone else with this experience? Any suggestions how fast could this issue be solved?

It is a plus 4 with modifications made at the factory. Normaly you should not have a problem.But when you will pass the german MOT the wheels have to be replaced by a plus 4 wheels.

This is not the plan Thierry ;-) I will really have Problems to explaing the difference of horsepower and the cosworth thing under the bonnet at MOT ;-)

I do hope that this is just some 'clerical error' with the paperwork and not an issue that will prevent owners from registering and using their (very expensive) ARP4.

My +4 from 97 was shown as a 4/4 on the documents. I think the Roadster is too as that is the UK type approval.
Hope you get it sorted with the "beamters" I know how inflexible the German TuV can be.

It is a plus 4 with modifications made at the factory. Normaly you should not have a problem.But when you will pass the german MOT the wheels have to be replaced by a plus 4 wheels. the ARP4 is "modified", it starts off an a standard Plus 4. Because it is modified, it is not type approved. My UK documents are all Plus 4. In the UK at least, MOT's don't check current wheels against original wheels. Does German MOT actually check HP? Cosworth engine is still 2.0 litre so at least that is accurate!

They are German they check everything. The rules are very very strict.

Had this when my cat 7 was bought by an Austrian chap who had to have all the original bits I had taken off so it could get through the customs check , he got it through !
Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .

Some years ago a German friend imported a Harley and had to remove all the chrome bits to get through TUV.
Keith 2013 narrow bodied + 4 Ruby.

The answer from Malvern:
"The CofC is correct – it has been raised for a STANDARD +4. This standard +4 is then modified by AeroRacing into the ARp4 specification, as an aftermarket conversion."
So i will drive my new Plus 4 with the necessary understatement ;-)
