Well well that had most of us guessing incorrectly. A Ford!
I have to say that the Facel styling is absolutely splendid. What a great looking motor car.
Thanks to The Austrian for posting this thread and giving us all a real challenge.

To confuse things further: The Comete Monte-Carlo was also sold by Simca! This may be the only Simca to be close to Ferrari or Maserati design.

Doh ... I would never look for Ford. But never mind that, I had fun looking up Vignale-designed cars from the fifties. Found many I didn't now, including this other beauty
So ... thanks for the fun!

Very pretty car.
But then I've long been a huge admirer of Facel and the work of Jean Daninos.
I think this Facel Vega is just stunning
and his rebody of the Bentley Continental R is off the scale

Facel was one of my favourites growing. Looking back my style and admiration must have been heavily influenced by Art Deco/Empire Line. Facel bring this out in me as well. Perhaps the reason I am so drawn to the Aero. They made a number of classic cars which were very beautiful.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
