Incredible insight into the past, shaw Taylor the presenter, famous for a programme called police 5 (early crime watch type prog) which literally only lasted five mins.
Love the shot near the beginning with the guy and the wheelbarrow in the background, now what was he doing?

Well done for seeking that one out Stewart. It reminds me of when I was a not infrequent visitor to the factory in the late seventies and eighties.
The parts department was fantastic and behind it was Peter Morgan's office with all its clutter and apparent chaos. He was always gracious to say good morning, even to an impecunious enthusiast such as me - he was a real gentleman in the truest sense of the word.
Was even dated a couple of times by a young lady who worked there; it probably increased the frequency of my visits!

Interesting sale price lists
I've just looked at the UK historical inflation rates and between 1969 and 1974 it averaged around 8-9 percent, it peaked to around a whopping 25 percent in August 1975 which is probably around the time of the programme judging by the bare chests and vests

The last pic "Thames colour production" shows the year 1975. But the bare chests and vests tell the year even more exactly.
