As one of the lucky people who gets to go to work on Bank Holiday Monday, I came into the office this morning and headed straight for the MSCC calendar to lift my spirits by turning the page to May. What did I find? Yes, a photo of the Peter Morgan Memorial Race in the rain on a dark, grey August Bank Holiday. I know it does sometimes rain in May, even in Worcestershire, but I have no wish to be reminded of that fact constantly for the next 4 weeks. gloomy

I'm afraid the calendar is going to have to face the wall until June comes, with a hope of something a little more uplifting.

Wayne,
Be of good cheer (when you are back at home, and not at work).
The forecast is good for the rest of the week around Worcester; even 20 deg towards the end of the week.
It has to be - I am taking hospice patients out for the first time this year...

Glenn,

That"s a great thing you do with the hospice patients. I hope they will enjoy themselves this week.

Yes, the weather is looking good for Wednesday when I have a run over to Allon White to have a hood cover fitted, a new luggage rack and suitcase. I hope I can resist the many bright and shiny things they have there.
