Good advice from JTL re goggles but if you use the car all the time like me leaving the folding screen on is more practical, the Aeroscreens can be left on all the time also, mine have remained on behind the windscreen for over 4 years without any vision issues. I can use the car in all weathers although i agree opening the bonnet is a faff.

I think it's a wicked idea..!! I love the look of a folded screen with or without aeroscreens. No cap, just goggles & no frills. Of course, for the full effect you'll need a V8 and no chrome clothes dryer on the back..

I've got a silver Zetec 1.8 2000 4/4 4 seater
What's this, it used to be Red, have you changed it , you kept that quiet? Sorry yes I meant 'silver top' zetec not silver car It's still red Infact my car appears again in this month's Miss-sell-an-an-nanny in the photo advertising Morgan's in Windermere Thanks for your posts and suggestions - my windscreen is heated so lengthening the cable is a good shout, hadn't thought of that issue

As I have mentioned before (and was asked this very question at the weekend), there is very little buffeting with one screen raised but with both the wind is funneled between them. The mounts that once were available from Steve Simmonds are really well made. You can see them on the post I replied to Jays's Having a thought.

Just spoken at length to John at Heart of England who has given me some good advice
He has recommended that I carefully cut out the rubber strip from under the leather on the dash crash pad in the areas where the aero screen feet and the mirror bases are to fit so that I only have the leather as a gasket between the feet and the metal
This is to reduce any wobble on the fittings

I fitted them to my 1997 +4. I used Simmonds feet which can't get now.
The kit was from HoE and was well worth the money.

jbk, any pictures of the folding screen down and the aero screens fitted?? I have the aero screens and mounts but havent as yet fitted them. I think I want to fit them on the 51 Plus 4, but I have a folding screen on the 86 Plus 8 as well.
Cheers,
Mark

Great stuff Stewart you are going to beat me to it. I've got some of the bits together for it now and I want to make a Morgan Park version and adapt it my way, so similar to below but without all the modern curvy ally bits which look too modern to me. It'll be a summer windscreen removal and the ally bar (sitting on U channel rubber) holding the Brooklands and mirror takes it's place utilising the same mounts. Making the passenger Brooklands removable as meabh experiences high turbulence with them both on. At least that's the theory. I can't stop driving it is the problem..

Has anyone done this for a 2006 car. With the heated screen I am not sure if I can get there
