I don’t regret making my visors. Some jobs you do and think I would not do that again, but not with these. They are useful folded right down on the odd occasion when the sun is very low and not even a baseball cap works. Mine are set to my eye height so that I can just see under them. I’m sticking with the solid rather than the tinted.
Don’t forget there is a neat trick when working with acrylic/perspex. The edges can be polished with a blowlamp. Practice on some off cuts.

Today I mounted my sun visors - supplied and adapted by Morgan Austria. The leather coverage matches the internal trim.
Costs equal to 4x filling the tank...
