I thank you all for the kind words. As I've always done I will follow the proper channels so what I did today was to send a very detailed email to my dealer, in the hope that this course of action will bring me a(nother) new left side exhaust in a matter of days.
Here I will just share 3 of the many pictures that were embedded in that email.
LEFT SIDE You can clearly see the pipe going down, can't even tighten the mount's screw or else the exhaust's welding will come under considerable stress (without need to start the engine). Same or stronger stress - until the welding collapses - would be suffered by the exhaust header up front, because tightening that screw would make it being pushed down by a very strong and quite long lever - the pipe)
RIGHT SIDE (pipe horizontal, screw tightened, nothing to report here)
Here the video I made after I asked the exhausts to be removed from the car and placed side by side on the floor, for some measuring
And now, to end and for a bit of a laugh or, if you're not feeling humorous, a simple "head shaking in disbelief" ... here's a perfectly welded fishtail (sorry I don't know how to make a proper fish pun like this one deserves)
I am truly shocked to see this Mario. I am still on set number 1 but I've only done 1000 miles. I hope they get to the bottom of it. This is not going to be funny once out of warranty.

I think the old saying should be amended to "The Saint's have the patience of a Mario"
You may have already done so but a copy of the email to Steve Morris and to Mark Evans couldn't hurt.
Also I agree with DaveW that this is a issue which should be aired at the M3W focus group and I'll be happy to do this for you.
LOL, I'm no Saint, but I do feel for the portuguese dealer and I do feel for the brand. So as long as I think they care about this I will just keep on the peaceful course of action that I have been following from day 1 of ownership.
But Morgan (MMC) should be more careful indeed, happy owners of fine cars are and will always be what keeps them in business. The other day I was talking to a MG fan (owns and has owned MGB for decades) and when I told him about the sometimes difficult to understand episodes of my M3W ownership experience he commented that the british auto industry had suicidal tendencies and that my tales reminded him of the many he witnessed from the 70's and 80's, regarding now defunct brands because of disgruntled owners and ex-owners that vowed to never again buy a car from ...... (you can name it, all the way from Morris to Jaguar).
JUst to keep you all updated, replacement exhausts have arrived. Not seen them yet, but I will guess they're (again) Mk III, this time I hope they have the correct shape and cn be fitted to the car.
They'll be fitted tomorrow or monday at the latest, according to workshop availability.
Exhactly, an exhaustive research over the exhaust issues on this exhtinct model was not an exhilarating prospect to the exhausted workforce of the supplier but such exhibit of an exhcruciating incompetence was exhponentially enhanced by the lack of a stern exhortation from the exhperts sitting in the exhcellent factory, therefore creating the need for an exhcessive rate of email exchanges, not only exhposing the issue with the defunct and exhumed parts, but also the issue of the less than exhpedite exhpedition of new, confidence-exhuding ... exhausts.
