That's a great idea and if you know a trimmer, would be easy to make up at home and have edged - like I did with Bumbles 1/4 Tonneau Cover. (Nods to the Tonneau Cover Police). cop

MrsW prefers the sidescreens though.

Very neat. Would be useful just to have one for the driver's side when I have the half tonneau cover on for the passenger side and help to keep some heat in without having the sidescreen on.

I have a 3zip tonneau and like it very much at cold weather. I can drive without side screens, and the warm air from the covered passenger side warms up my legs. Very nice. I have paid 150 euro for the conversion to 3 zips and think it was worth it.

Very neat indeed and looks good. clap

I have a standard tonneau and don't use it much, for a couple of reasons, but mainly because when driven half open at any speed above 30mph it flaps about like a badly erected tent in a storm!

The second reason is that a lot of cold gets in on the drivers side. I'd wondered about getting a "semi-sidescreen", made, that is a side screen without the upper part, but your solution is better and probably cheaper.

I have these "side-flaps" (in Everflex) on my 4/4 Sport and use them regularly. Can recommand them!

Re the 3-zip tonneau, you could use the search function to find a thread by Gambalunga from some time ago about the very nice 3-zip he´d got for his Plus 4.

Kind regards,

George

Hi

I started this tread for 6 months ago. Based on advise on the forum I converted my existing tonneau to a 3-zip version this winter. After driving my car several trips this spring I am very happy with it. It decreases some of the cold airflow and makes the ride a bit warmer in the early spring temperature. Thanks for your response.

Just popped my tonneau into Willians for the two extra zips to be fitted.
