I haven't found a service center for my wife. Or a list of upgrades.

Ha! I don't think I'm in danger of either of those.

Now that would be a service centre worth sharing.

From what I learnt today the Morgan management have been tackling the historic problems head on and the M3W is now a well sorted machine.

I would most definitely recommend placing an order if you want a truly special driving and lifestyle experience

A really good day with Steve Morris and his team.

Car purchased new Jun 2015.

Carefully run in for first 1000 miles. Driven carefully from cold every time then at speed limit on most roads. Occasional blast where its safe and no cameras about.

3 touring holidays with my wife, dog and luggage rack to the brim.

Hours and hours of fun!

5000 miles covered without any serious issues apart from pinking which is only there if I am driving too hard.

Very pleased. smile

Go for it Mark!

Wonder if/when the fuel sender issue will be sorted. Mark Cerrone noted the part number of the 280mm I later fitted. Problem for MMC is that they would have to re-write the owners manual as it presently states up to 15 litres! of fuel remaining when gauge reads 0%.

Once the details have been shuffled from pages of scribbled notes, I'm sure a swift precis will be on the cards, but nothing startling from a development perspective. The day was more to do with how you bought the car & how the marketing went from there.

There was an item on the agenda regarding 'issues', but again, it was all known ground and from MMC's perspective all on-going.

Screens are coming on, rear mudguards too. No plans for dropping the car or anything drastic, the e3 will do the rounds as a 'mule' but no-one knows what will happen too far ahead.

The factory are working towards more in-house fabrication control, and several department practices are changing for a smoother flow, but again nothing of too much importance directly to TM'ers.

The focus of the day was directed at future marketing and dealer relationships more than anything else, so worry not..

The M3W is many things (including beautiful and a blast to drive) but I would say not say that "reliable" is one of them.

WRT:
"good to hear that issues while openly discussed are pretty much all but history these days"
"Morgan management have been tackling the historic problems head on and the M3W is now a well sorted machine."

My experience (not only with Morgan) is that often a company with a bad reputation for reliability will say "oh yes, the old ones were awful but we've got that all fixed now" when really not much has changed at all. Only time will tell if the new models are more reliable. Not enough time has passed yet to really now.

With my car (2013), I've had better luck than some and worse than others. Solidly average I would say.
It has had significant down time and expensive repairs (despite being under warranty) and now that it is out of warranty I expect even more expensive repairs in the future.

So.... plunge in but do it with proper expectations and eyes open (wallet too)!
