I'm trying these to see if they're viable - Harley detachable screen clamps - but filled with ring bolts or eye bolts for the rack to slot into. Ill also use some Velcro straps wrapped around the locks to ensure they're always kept in the over centre & locked position

These look interesting and just might do the job in a very slick manner... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/aaf-all99161/overview/

These look good but the lug is at 90 degrees out of orientation to where it needs to be.

I think the Lug turns - you can just see the holding screw from the pic - these are what I tracked down - but never bought.

It's a swivel mount. Just ordered. Talked to tech support and the swivel inner diameter may need to be enlarged a bit but that is not a bother. It is more than adequate to do what needs to be done. A mounting bracket for my golfing umbrella, or as I like to call it, my roof. It will occasionally be used to actually carry stuff but not too much.

No one has come up with a front mounted bonnet rack 🙄 Or mono wheel trailer. Bonnet rack? oy I just saw a new Polaris Slingshot with a trailer hitch! He pulls a bike trailer with it as the Slingshot has as much storage as the M3W... none. It was mounted to the rear frame above the swing arm. It's wide open back there. I don't think that would be possible for the likes of us. Anything that would mechanically work would very likely be ugly as sin...
