I'm getting a strong urge to potter about in one of these for a week - I know we have sailors - but can't remember canals being mentioned - any narrow boaters?

Well Ken, after a 1000 mile drive in three days including the misfortune of the Dartford tunnel in rush hour traffic , thought it might make a nice change.

Had a holiday on one from Rugby to Milton Keynes a few year ago. Was great. Much better than it sounds as a route, very happy memories.

Start in Trevor near Llangollen & you can cover some fantastic aquaducts built by T Telford
