Hard to believe it would help, at least in my situation. It's quiet when cold, but cold only lasts a few miles... like about two! I'm assuming it's only warm by then. Is an oil cooler really going to cool it down to less than its temp at that point?

Been done by someone in the Morgan three wheeler club. described in detail in the club magazine about a year ago. No follow up so I dont know how successful it was. Seemed pretty complicated , with its own pump , filter and radiator.

With reading all this one can ask himself the question if Qauife Engenering delivers the quality they need to deliver. Looks to me that the (end) customers need to be lucky what Quaife put together.
Bad luck if you're bevel box is screaming like a pig at the slaughterhouse, lucky if you get a quiet one.
If I was Quaife I would ashame myself immensely !
That MMC can't do much about it I also understand because as small customer of Qauife they need to be happy with what they got.
But for me, when a reading the outcome of this survey, which shows that 50% is quiet, it's clear that we only can blame Qauife if we need to live with a screaming bevel box.
And when I ask them directly if it would be possible to refurbish our BB to the normal standard ( for which I'm also willing to pay ) they send me to MMC.
See my posts in the topic : Quaife Enginering
Who can help us ????

Oh ...... with all this I forgot to mention the ones who needed to change their BB ( some more as one) and the ones who had a leaking BB.

The german Dealer Merz & Pabst spoke about this 2 years ago, but I have no more news

Has the possibility of an electric fan been discussed? It works for the engine. There are louvers at the rear for an intake without the road particulate, one fan on each side, ducted to the bevel box.

From the survey the post 2014 cars seem to be less affected.

I wonder if this is down to the louvres improving airflow past the BB?
