Also the screws holding down the bonnet hinge. Take them out and bath sealant & screw up +1

Water can also come under the screen seal and travel back to the holes for the heated screen cables. I've got my screen off at the moment to replace the seal.....not a job I'd recommend!
People seem to accept leaks as part of the Morgan experience. I don't!
I can accept the slight drop from the hood but in my view leaks from under the dash and heater just should not happen.....they've been building the cars for decades! Morgan needs to bloody well get it sorted!! I'm with Jays on this, Leaks from engine bay, windscreen,etc, should not be tolerated, Morgan are very slow learners, most disappointing.

I'd heard that the cause of a lot of the quality problems associated with leakage were that the guys on the shop floor were being distracted by the sight of female visitors swooning over the ruggedly handsome tour guides...

Jays, I had a thought, whilst you have you screen off black out you garage window, get a very bright light an put in each footwell shying up under the dash black off from the dash down to the flor and then look from the top of the bulk head head an d see where the light seeps out. Then you may find the leak  If you were to let off a smoke bomb in the garage at the same time, you would be able to spot the light rays more easily

My Roadster stayed dry on the journey up yesterday, but I get damp patches in the mohair along the side rails where water wicks through the stitching. I tried Nikwax a year or two ago but I need to do something again. It doesn't drip but it does get damp. The inside of the hood is ready for a good clean as well.

The inside of the hood is ready for a good clean as well. Which probably means it's pristine but not perfect.

I do our softtop cars twice a year autumn and spring.
Currently weapon of choice for ease of application is liquid fabric gold applied with small sheepskin radiator roller as it is very controllable and less flick off than a brush.
On a sunny day after washing and drying the roofs I can give three cars three coats each drying between each coat in just over 35-40 minutes with no masking off areas.
I always reproof regularly whether I think it's needed or not.
I used to use a smart nanotechnology liquid but that's expensive for very little volume (very good though)
If you reproof regularly the uv filters in the compounds keep the effects of the sun at bay.
