Interesting.....but why? The nuts are self tightening......unless Henry is spinning backwards of course!
The wheels are undoing themselves, we've had this issue since class E on the wire wheels. We have also learnt we are not the only ones who have had this issue. Also it happens on the Aero race cars, hence they also have the saftey wheel nut clips. Simon H from Sifab has advised on another way to help this issue which is now being implemented.
Interesting. You think it might be down to the higher loads on the wheel with the wider wheels and competition tyres.....and the speed Henry drives (!) compared to standard road cars?
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!

You have hit the nail on the head John. If you look all Center lock wheels when racing morgns have the safety clips. Plus its how well the nut bites onto the wheel. Like I said we had this problem on the Class E wire wheels aswell.
As some of you may of seen dear Frankie through a con rod at Silverstone. This was due to the high cornering forces we were to acheive today. Oil surge was cause of todays problem. Basically the chassis is too quick for the engine, as dry sump is not allowed in class D.
We have decided thats it for Frankie for ever
Thank you to all of those who have supported Frankie.
I have only seen Frankie in action in two races and in the pits but I was most impressed by his speed and Henry's driving skills. The level of preparation was obvious to see. Such a shame he did not make it to the end of the season.
RIP Frankie. We will look forward to meeting the Son of Frankie.
