Ringa it was my car in the ECU thread. With the latest ECU it runs better than it did with the original. Your dealer will have to remove the running in rev limits from the new one. Hopefully you are soon getting your morgasms again.

Thanks Tim. I've elected to go for the G56 programmable ECU which will come with a map specifically designed for my G56 kit, as this seems like the most sensible option (as well as being extremely timely of course). It also fits my philosophy of "never replace, always upgrade".... The cost is almost exactly the same as a locked replacement from MMC, so I now have way more flexibility and can go to visit Matt in Wales for any fine tuning (or maybe Roller Rockers and other bits of S&S engine porn), safe in the knowledge that he can continue to match the mods to the map. Should be with me soon I hope.
