Yup, me too. I'm doing runs up Prescott the week after too, so a decent motoring fortnight to look forward to.

Hence my question about safety gear needed, as all my Prescott events have been formal MSA organised, so full kit required. Hopefully TOTH is a bit more 'relaxed'?!

Certainly it was relaxed last year. Long sleeve shirt and jeans was OK. This year it may be long sleeve shirt and shorts if this heatwave continues! Also, any old helmet was OK.

It's not a competitive event so apart from a helmet, no protective gear is required although they may insist on your arms being covered...l know Prescott does. A motorcycle or car helmet is acceptable.

Thanks all - I will come suitably clothed, but not looking like a racetrack refugee. Till Saturday then....

Resurrecting this one as the Thrill approaches this weekend. I've not been before, but am planning a sparrow-fart departure from home at about 5:30am, with a view to arriving Shelsey at about 8:30am, car permitting of course!
Two key questions for you all though if I may?
1) I know I need a helmet, but I assume this is not a formal MSA event, so I don't need to bring my HANS-equiped version and things like FIA suit, MSA licence and all that jazz?! Will my normal 'footwell' open-face with visor be OK do you know?
2) Related to above, presumably jeans and long sleeve shirt + jacket will do by way or protective clothing, or do those of you that take to the Hill bring race suits too?
3) There is no 3, but I look forward to meeting those of you who expect to be there too!
Thanks. Phil try your utmost to look a touch dandy! A hint of tweed and your best Fangeo pose to the camera on your way back down should do it nicely. 😉 See you there

It's only going to be 28deg. I would expect any Morgan hardcore to be in full flying helmet, jacket and goggles throughout!

A great event yesterday. Well run, relaxed, and good fun. There's a short video of a 2 up run on Facebook, for anyone with access: https://www.facebook.com/garage56uk/Anyone post any pictures of the day?
