You got it "Bedside Reader". The Gemmer I bought does not have a column. Just a short extension. If I remember the first leg with MGB U joints and the second leg came from a Jag XJ6 steering. The Jag leg was shortened (by a reliable welder). It has a dog leg that gives it flexibility. I will try to take pictures when I fully wake up this morning.

BTW: Using the Jag rod was a stroke of genius. Not my idea. It was the Owner of the Wrecking Yard that figured this out for Me.
