I agree. The wrong marketing. It should have been marketed as the new Plus 4 SS with the same race kit options and less "touring" oriented variations over the standard Plus 4.

I also agree that marketed as a tourer it would have been better off with a 2.5 engine putting out about 200hp or a bit more. This would have made a nice lively and torquey alternative to the original 3 litre Roadster.

There would be no point in putting a 3.7 litre engine in it as they already have the Roadster and for the track the AR V6.

I decided to sell my Arp4 just because I can't get to use it. The number plate is not with the car which probably is a releave to most people. It truly is the most fun I have had in a car . If it doesn't sell then I will just keep it . I never bought as a investment just for the fun .

I'm aware that strictly speaking, no ARP4 has a legal front numberplate, but the normal illegal would not get attention from 99% or more police officers as the mk1 eyeball would have no problems.

Presume it would be possible to sell the plate and get a less combative one ??

A new owner was taking delivery of a red ARP4 at the factory today. There were two more ready for PDI - black and silver, and the final one is in the chassis shop.

For me it is the best morgan i ever had .The engine noise is exeptional. It's sound like a second war warplane. The rear supension is much better and confortable than leafs.I have only made 350 km with the car so i dont have made more than 4000 rd/min.The car is very pleasant to drive even at 2000 rd/min in fourth. When the hood is up the car is more quiet than my 4/4 sport.I dont have a problem to park the car with the handbrake. What has to be fixed is a metallic noise behind the dashboard and maybee the brakes wich are not so powerfull. In Belgium the taxes are much lower for a 2 litres again a 3.9 litres.
