The greatest has gone. Just heard the sad news about Muhammad Ali, so quickly taken from us. He was always so much more than a great boxer and will be missed by many. RIP Ali.
As has been said, so much more than a boxer to a whole generation. An inspiration to many both at home and abroad. May he retire to his corner in peace.
Sad to some extent. He had been ill for some time and can now relax after a life well lived. The best thing someone can say is that a person lived up to his commitments and left a mark for the better. He did this in spades.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

+1 - a sporting legend, the greatest heavyweight ever, but much more than that to many people with his willingness to take on the establishment! His legend will live on...

A sad day, his craftsmnanship in the ring was truly legendary with bags of style, he had so many gifts and being a great human being was the foremost. RIP wherever you are.

A true great and legend. When he came on the scene in the Olympics he started his reign and stirred up the establishment. His showmanship, wit and humour started so many debates about like or hate him. His record shows him to be The Greatest. Outside the ring he was even more of a great with his standing up for human rights, religious beliefs. To throw away his Olympic gold medal in disgust was such a huge expression of sentiment. When he was reawarded a gold years later it was truly deserved and one of very few moments to savour. RIP to the Greatest.
