That should be possible:
1. remove liner and boot lid - needed to get light for videoing. [Is the boot lid easily removed? Seems like it should be]
2. set up GoPro / Mobius or similar on a clamp mount on the frame. Settings should be highest frame rate (frame rate prioritised over resolution).
3. Optionally use a remote app (eg for GoPro) to start recording when about to accelerate...

PS: I note the chap who did the original M3W (see Pete Larsen's Liberty Ace project ) used a driveshaft at the expense of passenger space/comfort. The latter could maybe be handled by a taller seat or forward set seat for the passenger...

The passenger seat was described as only being suitable for a small child.

Just curious...how do you know how many teeth it skipped?

Good question: Bang Bang from the rear drivetrain. May have been 2 sets of teeth skipping!

a chain drive could have been easily created vs the poorly designed drivetrain of the Ace Cyclecar which as people have mentioned made it basically a 1 seater. I am sure Morgan decided not to go that direction for less maintenance and reliability. lol

Sorry PaulV, should have been clearer, I used past tense because the project is underway and for example, the front pulley is now a carrier for the new front sprocket. So, would have liked to have videod the thing in motion but too late now.

Usually only one tooth Ken but often two and on a bad day three, gives one a right good kick in the pants and gets spectators pointing.

The Liberty Ace looks good for the driver but Claire would have been even less happy than she is with Morgan's solution.

I have, today, ordered the last of the equipment needed, including a tip drill for the bolt holes in the front sprocket carrier and it should all be with me next Monday. I will let you all have the full story including parts / suppliers, pictures and a sketch or two when it is tried and tested.

Well now. At last the chain drive is active. A couple of short runs under my belt ( pun intended ). And a longish one planned for tomorrow. All seems well so far and the machine is a dream to drive to say nothing about the lower noise levels. If you would like to see how it all came together then go to www.bleazey.co.uk and click on the picture link. Any questions or comments will be welcome.
