You would buy a complete 132 engine directly from S&S. It costs $9,699.95USD. Or buy the big bore kit and modify the existing engine. Not sure the specs or type of the Morgan engine however. http://www.sscycle.com/product/4-3-8-Big-Bore-Kit-for-X-Wedge-X128-and-X132-engines-p24059.html

I take it, this is a dealer only option!

The X-Wedge 132ci S&S motor you would have to go to an S&S dealer for pricing. And I would bet you would have to make some adapters to make it fit your M3W. By the way they also make a 143ci motor really so how far do you really wait to go? The stage 2 kit from Morgan I think will do me just fine and it will keep it Morgan. Here are some links to S&S;

$9,699.95 USD sounds reasonable for the 132 motor.

In talking to S&S when they made the 121ci motor for Morgan and it is a Morgan motor, it was changed just enough that stock S&S motor parts will not fit, to what existent I’m not sure. But if I were a racer I would look into changing out the whole motor so I would have more hot roding parts options not to mention an ECU that is not locked.

Just my opinion Gents.

I am sure that if someone was racing, an engine swap would make the absolute most sense due to ease of finding parts along with access to modifications.

I wouldn't be surprised in that S&S would not work with you to help modify the existing engine as that would undoubtedly breach contracts.

Seems to be a problem getting hold of their M3W accessory price list though. Have asked Stuart three times now to email list to me when a printed one was not available. Does anyone have a link?

Many thanks although I know they offer a much greater range of M3W bits than the engine and Empire kit in link.

In building my 128CI motor it is very much like the Stage 4 Kit
It take a 3 months to order parts from S&S.
In getting the bigger cyclinders/Pistons they also have a upgraded (maybe stock everywhere else) heads with larger valves.
It looks like the Morgan S&S version comes with detuned parts, smaller valves, a restricted ECU and an exhaust with pipe filters blocking its breathing.
You would think that Morgan is really worried about too much HP going through their drivetrain.

Check out my thread with pictures - building 128CI

Maybe that is the exact purpose?
